Your photos tell CK’s story at the museum
The Chatham-Kent museum and local artist Mark Reinhart would like to invite you to contribute to an exciting project, “Running a Thread Through Chatham-Kent”. Running a Thread asks residents and visitors to take a photograph of their favourite place in Chatham-Kent with a thread of yarn running across the frame. Your photographs will be displayed at the Chatham-Kent museum beginning January 25th as part of our current show “Get More Spun”. The threads running through each photograph will visually unite the various locations throughout our municipality.
The Chatham-Kent museum is already accepting photograph submissions. Photographs can be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org or to the Chatham-Kent museum daily 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. until April 5.
“Get More Spun” will be open in the mezzanine gallery of the Chatham-Kent museum from October 13, 2012 to December 1, 2013. “Running a Thread Through Chatham-Kent” will be on display at the Chatham-Kent museum from January 25 to July 7.
