Your chance to protest wind turbines

A protest is being organized in opposition to wind turbines in Chatham-Kent.

The Ontario Minister of Energy, Chris Bentley, will be at the John D. Bradley Centre on Monday December 3rd. The protest starts at 7:40 a.m.

Called the Wake Up Bentley Protest, organizers are asking people to attend with their signs and noisemakers as the CK Chamber of Commerce meets for a breakfast.

Bentley has stated he is finished with politics and will not run in the next election. A central figure to the gas plant controversy, Bentley is on record as touting wind turbines as an alternative green power resource and a job creator.

The Bradley Centre is at 565 Richmond Street in Chatham.
