CKPS at a number of events on Remembrance Day

The Chatham-Kent Police Service will be participating in several Remembrance Day events across the Municipality this Sunday, November 11, 2021 in honour of Canadian soldiers who gave their lives and to show appreciation to all Canadian Forces veterans, including those currently serving in Canada and across the world.

Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service salute our Canadian Forces and are asking citizens to show their support by attending a local Remembrance Day event with us:

· Blenheim – ceremony starts at the Legion at 10:30 a.m.

· Bothwell – ceremony starts at the Legion at 9:00 a.m.

· Chatham – ceremony starts at John D. Bradley Convention Centre at 9:30 a.m. with parading in and laying of wreaths. Remembrance Day ceremony to follow at 11:00 a.m.

· Chatham – ceremony starts at the former Armouries building on William Street with a march through Tecumseh Park arriving at the Cenotaph at approximately 10:40 a.m.

· Dresden – ceremony starts at the Legion at 10:30 a.m.

· Erieau – ceremony starts at the Cenotaph at 1:30 p.m.

· Highgate – ceremony starts at the Legion at 11:00 a.m.

· Merlin – ceremony starts at the Legion at 10:30 a.m.

· Ridgetown – ceremony starts at the Legion at 9:30 a.m.

· Thamesville – ceremony starts at the Legion at 10:45 a.m.

· Tilbury – ceremony starts at the Legion at 10:00 a.m.

· Wallaceburg – ceremony starts at the UAW Hall at 10:30 a.m.

· Wheatley – ceremony starts at the Legion at 10:30 a.m.
