The Cultural Centre has announced that the Acorn Dinner Theatre will be performing Christmas with the Queen of Kincardine at the Kiwanis Theatre.
Christmas with the Queen of Kincardine is a must-see show this holiday season. When Mary MacDonald becomes bored with the Women’s Institute and the Ladies Auxiliary, she decides to start a special club of her own. In honour of her family’s Scottish roots, she forms an exclusive ladies-only group dedicated to all the things Celtic and fun. The Scots Bonnets are born and they immediately take the small town of Kincardine by storm. This wild and wonderful group of women even manage to save the holidays for a young couple by helping to put a bonnie spark back in their marriage, and a big pile of Pampers under their christmas tree.
Christmas with The Queen of Kincardine runs at the Kiwanis Theatre from December 3rd to the 14th, with matinée and evening performances. The friendly staff of The Black Goose Catering Company will be serving a generous home-style meal right to your table. Dining will take place in the spacious Studio One or the Thames Art Gallery at the Cultural Centre. Both rooms are directly connected to the Kiwanis Theatre so the show is only a few steps away once the meal is done. The theatre and dining rooms are fully wheelchair accessible and offer ample-sized washroom facilities very close by. For dinner and show, the cost is $42.00 per person plus HST. Tickets for the show only are $22.00 per person plus HST. Dinner seating is limited, so please buy your tickets ASAP to avoid disappointment.
The Acorn Dinner Theatre has been providing quality entertainment for 20 years. They produce hilarious comedies written by leading playwrights from Canada, the UK and the United States as well as producing original scripts of their own.
