Three vehicle collision sends two to hospital

A three vehicle collision at Grand Avenue East and Hillyard Street sent two people to hospital Friday afternoon.

The accident happened in the east bound lanes just before 3:00 p.m., when a white Cavalier stopped for a car making a left hand turn. Behind that car was a grey Hyundai SUV which also stopped, however it was later rear-ended by a red Ford Escape, sending the two occupants of the Hyundai to the hospital on stretchers. The Hyundai slightly grazed the Cavalier

The injuries were considered minor according to police. There was no estimate on damages.
