The Cultural Centre participates in Canada-Wide Culture Days

The Thames Art Gallery and the Chatham-Kent Museum will be taking part in the annual Canada-wide celebration of art and culture, Culture Days, on Friday, September 28, 2021 from 7pm to 9pm.

Launched in September 2010, Culture Days (www.culturedays.ca) is a free annual event designed to invite the public to celebrate and explore arts and culture in every province and territory in Canada, with more than 700 Canadian cities and towns participating.

Culture Days represents the largest-ever collective public participation campaign undertaken by the arts and cultural community in Canada.

The 2012 Culture Days event weekend will take place in every province and territory September 28, 29 and 30, 2012 and will see hundreds of communities of all sizes take part.

The Thames Art Gallery will be featuring an artist’s talk by Canadian Contemporary artist, Ron Shuebrook.  The Chatham-Kent Museum will be showcasing “On Our Doorstep: The War of 1812 in Chatham-Kent”, and serving fresh-baked soldier’s ration biscuits for the occasion.
