One person taken to hospital following rollover on 401

One person has been taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance following a single vehicle rollover on Highway 401 this afternoon.

Around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, Chatham-Kent O.P.P., Fire and EMS responded to a singel vehicle rollover on the 401 at marker 100. O.P.P. closed the westbound lanes at Kent Bridge Road, while firefighters freed  a trapped occupant of the SUV involved in the rollover.

The occupant was transported by land ambulance to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with unknown injuries according to  C-K O.P.P.

The incident is under investigation, and no further details are available at this time.
