Windsor man arrested for stabbing behind Spanky’s

Wednesday August 29, Windsor Police arrested a man in connection with the stabbing that took place behind Spanky’s bar.

After conducting an extensive investigation in to a stabbing that occurred in downtown Chatham during the early morning hours August 17th Chatham-Kent Police identified a 26 year-old Windsor resident as a suspect. The night of Wednesday August 29 2012, the suspect was arrested in the Windsor area and returned to Chatham for questioning by members of the Major Crime Section and will be appearing in court  facing two criminal charges in relation to this incident.

The 26 year-old Windsor man stands charged with 1 count of Aggravated Assault and 1 count of Assault with a weapon.
