(PETROLIA, ON) The Lambton Ontario Provincial Police have arrested and charged a 22-year-old Petrolia man with several offences for his alleged involvement in a collision involving a stolen vehicle. On July 8, 2012, shortly after 12:00 midnight, police were called to a collision on Maude St., Petrolia where the vehicle in the collision had been driven from the scene. The suspect truck, a 2010 Ford F-150 pick up was located further up Maude St but was left abandoned. It was found to have been stolen from Ridgetown earlier in the evening.
Investigation leads police to find a possible suspect.
On July 11, 2012, Samuel P Ouellette from Petrolia was arrested without incident. He will appear in Sarnia court on September 17, 2021 facing charges of Theft Over $5,000, Theft Under $5,000, Possession of Stolen Property Over, Possession of Stolen Property Under, Careless Driving and Driving While under Suspension.
