Drowning at Grand Bend

On July 1, 2021 at around 6:30 p.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Lambton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Grand Bend Volunteer Fire Department responded to an unresponsive male in the water at the main beach in Grand Bend. The man was found by the Grand Bend Beach Patrol, according to a reader of the CKReview.

A 27 year old male from Howick Township was transported to South Huron Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A post mortem examination is expected to take place in the coming days at London Health Sciences Centre.

Updated: The Ontario Provincial Police have confirmed that the 27 year old male who died is Jeno BUJTAS from Howick Township. He was found in the water at the main beach, and was transported to South Huron Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
