Break and enter involving assault in Dresden

Just before 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night a man entered a residence on Camden Street without being invited or given permission. The man proceeded through the residence and walked out to the back deck. Following a verbal altercation, the man assaulted the victim by punching him in the head, causing a cut above his left eye. The man fled the residence prior to police arrival. The victim did not require medical attention.
At about 9:30 p.m. officers located the man in Dresden and he was arrested. The  43 year old man, of North Street in Dresden has been charged with break and enter and assault. He has been released with conditions pending a future court date.
