Arson incident reported in Chatham

The Chatham-Kent police made a discovery Wednesday morning that has them on the hunt for a couple of arsonists.

Shortly after midnight the police attended a Prince Arthur Avenue address regarding a small fire. Two 10 litre gas cans were set on fire near a residence. The small fire was quickly extinguished. and no injuries were reported. The only damage was to the gas cans and a small patch of grass.

Two youths were seen running away from the area. One youth was described as a male wearing a maroon shirt and tan pants. There are no descriptors for the second youth at this time.
