The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a London man for impaired driving Monday night in Chatham.
Just before 10:00 p.m. police received information regarding a possible impaired driver in the area of St. Clair Street. Officers located the man sitting in his vehicle in a parking lot eating.
Through investigation the officer believed that the driver was operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested. The driver was transported to police headquarters for further breath tests.
A 65-year-old London man has been charged with having a blood alcohol limit exceeding the legal limit. He has been released pending a future court date.
