On Monday, March 12 come out and join local artist Scott Livingstone for a day of drawing instruction! The day will focus on the Chatham-Kent landscape and introduce you to the basic techniques and media of drawing. This course focuses on the development of observational skills as you work with line, shape, value, perspective, proportion, and composition to properly develop skies, water, trees, and ground spaces.
Scott creates images from his personal experiences. Most often, his works are a response to Chatham-Kent and vary from realistic, to abstract, to non-objective. Livingstone has exhibited work widely in the area, including a solo exhibition at ARTspace, and has been in various juried exhibitions in South-Western Ontario.
Drawing the Chatham-Kent Landscape takes place at ARTspace on Monday, March 12, 2021 from 10:00am – 3:00pm. The cost is $60 + HST for ARTspace members and $75 + HST for non-members. Cost includes all supplies and lunch at the Satellite Restaurant. Remember, you can apply for an ARTspace or Culture Vulture membership for discounts!
